Upcoming Warhammer Chronicles 2019

Covers are very liable to change at this point. Though I would love for the Skaven one to remain as is, it's so cool.

The most interesting one to me is immediately what comes out of the black gate the first month of the new year: Warriors of the Chaos Wastes
January 2019

Contains Blood for the Blood God, Palace of the Plague Lord and Wulfrik, all written by C. L. Werner, one of the Library's most longevitous writers.

Then in February we have the already expected Gotrek and Felix Volume 2

Here's also the definite edition for Gotrek and Felix volume 1, so expect omnibus 2 to be more in line with that one.

After this we have a surprise with Knights of the Empire in March.
Containing Reiksguard by Richard Williams (and a deserved place it is!) alongside Hammers of Ulric by Dan Abnett and Knights of the Blazing Sun by Josh Reynolds. The theme here is readily apparent; big dudes on horses swinging flashing steel around!

The omnibus is also credited to James Wallis and Nik Vincent, but as this isn't a book about brooding Elves or the Hunting of the Mark of Chaos I'm going to go ahead and assume this IS just going to be the Hammers of Ulric novel.

In April we have another surprise: Warlords of Karak Eight-Peaks.
Contains the novels Skarsnik by Guy Haley and David Guymer's Headtaker and the Thorgim novella. I'm assuming the King of Black Crag and the Karak Durag Grudge short stories 'll be here too.

And then we have the Skaven Wars/ the Black Plague trilogy which has been pushed back to may 2019

A slew of interesting omnibi, of which 2 were written solely by C. L. Werner, that's quite impressive.
Lovely also to see some older work in these; Blood for the Blood God, Palace of the Plague Lord and Hammers of Ulric are all classics and I'm itching to finally read the Blood and Plague.
Hammers I've already read, in its fancy hardcover no less and it's quite a good one too.
